This is where the strings come in Born in Illinois. Moved to Nebraska. Back to Illinois. Moved to Colorado in the early 80’s and have only vaguely left its gravitational pull. Denver is my home and I will never leave. I may have a vacation home in Mexico one day. I will go there for the whole month of February because it’s so goddamn depressing here by then. I have a beautiful wife and two marvelous children. We live in a house with a big back yard and if I’m lucky, they will find me there, at a ripe old age, dead beside the running lawn mower. Actually that’s just for effect. Everyone knows that today’s lawn mowers shut off when you let go of the handle.
